This index organizes published prices by repair service. When comparable menu prices are available, we show the observed range, the number of contributing published menus, and the latest date those sources were checked.
We do not invent prices for shops that require an inspection or individual quote.

Our ranges describe the published prices present in the collected records. They are not statewide or national averages, and they do not represent every cobbler.
Price information comes from the repair shop's own published website or menu. Each qualifying record includes a source URL and a date checked.
Where an individual price appears, it must be accompanied by the shop attribution and checked date.
For equivalent repair items, the lowest and highest eligible published prices form the displayed range.
Every displayed range identifies how many distinct published shop menus contribute and the latest source-check date.
A service without an exact published price is not assigned an estimated value. Starting-at, variable, and quote-only amounts are not silently treated as fixed repair prices.
Shops may update their menus or charge differently for a particular item's condition and construction.
The checked date records when the source was inspected, not a promise that the listed price remains available.

Published menu prices are useful starting points, but the repair decision depends on the footwear and the expected result.
Consider the condition of the uppers, the remaining structure, the replacement cost, the shoe's fit, and whether the shop expects the repair to last.
